Hi! It's good to see you!
A couple of things have happened this past year. We lost three members of our family. Gunnel Lindfors lost her courageous battle with cancer in December. She was a dear, very special friend and we miss her. Our hearts have gone out to Lars.
We also lost Gracie Lou, my shadow, in December. She is the collie on the front of my original cd and in the picture above. She had a great life, and we enjoyed every minute we had with her.
Finally and probably the most devastating, we lost my aunt Mary Ann Carter. She was the mother hen of our family and probably the whole valley. After her funeral, there was a procession following the hearse to her gravesite of all her little chicks. Some older, some younger, but all Mary Ann's chicks.
Marshall Grant has recently written a book called I Was There When It Happened, My life with Johnny Cash. It's an excellent read, and Marshall is the one who would know all. He was there with John through it all. He never fails to amaze me with his memory of the early days. I highly recommend his book to everyone!
